To report on progress halfway through its three-year term, Baltic Master II held a conference on 5-6 May hosted by the Maritime Institute in Gdansk, Poland.

The Baltic Master II project partner Merikotka, is involved in the project OILRISK - Applications of ecological knowledge in managing oil spill risk.

Baltic Master II have now reached the halfway point and are proud to present our progress and initial results in the enclosed progress report.

Some 40 participants gathered in Gdynia on March 17-18 for a two day seminar on Ballast Water- and sediment management. The seminar was hosted by the Port of Gdynia within the framework of Baltic Master II.
