The Political Committee gathers politicians at regional level from different Baltic Sea Countries and was chaired by Mr Patrik Hansson from Region Blekinge. Baltic Master II would like to thank Mr Patrik Hansson for his engagement in the project. The Political Committee will serve as a link to the main political assemblies involved in the project. The Political Committee should disseminate the results from the Baltic Master II project on the political arena and in political networks and also anchor the results in each committee member’s respective organisation. Also, the Political Committe should take proper joint actions in lobbying towards European and international organisations as well as towards national authorities and other organizations with a responsibility for maritime affairs in general and maritime safety in particular.
